Enguany es commemora el bicentenari de la publicació del primer volum dels Kinder- und Hausmärchen (1812), dels germans Jacob i Wilhelm Grimm, obra que, a més del seu indiscutible valor com a peça literària universal, va suposar l’inici de l’estudi de la rondallística com a disciplina científica. Per aquest motiu, creiem que la millor manera de començar aquesta revista és fer-ho amb un dossier monogràfic dedicat a «La figura i l’obra dels germans Grimm», format per sis articles que estudien, des de diferents perspectives, aspectes concrets i àmbits diversos (tots complementaris) de la seva obra, des d’un context internacional.

Exposició 200 anys dels Kinder- und Hausmärchen dels germans Grimm

Amb motiu de la celebració de la jornada “La figura i l’obra dels germans Grimm” organitzada per l’Arxiu de Folklore del Departament de Filologia Catalana de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili de Tarragona, el Centre de recursos per a l’aprenentatge i la investigació (CRAI) del Campus Catalunya de la URV acull, del 19 d’octubre al 5 de novembre, l’exposició “200 anys dels Kinder- und Hausmärchen dels germans Grimm” que inclou diferents edicions de les seves rondalles procedents dels fons de les biblioteques de la URV i de col·leccions particulars.

Jornada La figura i l’obra dels germans Grimm a Tarragona

L’Arxiu de Folklore del Departament de Filologia Catalana de la Universitat Rovira i Virgili se suma a la celebració del el bicentenari de la publicació del primer volum dels Kinder- und Hausmärchen (1812) dels germans JacobWilhelm Grimm amb la jornada «La figura i l’obra dels germans Grimm» que es realitzarà el 24 d’octubre de 2012 i comptarà amb la participació d’especialistes en el tema, provinents de diferents països, que estudiaran, des de diferents perspectives, aspectes concrets i àmbits diversos (tots ells complementaris) de l’obra dels germans Grimm, des d’un context internacional. La jornada se celebra en homenatge a Josep M. Pujol.

Simposi Grimm (and you) in Lisbon

Del 21 al 23 de juny l’Instituto de Estudos de Literatura Tradicional de la Universitat de Lisboa acull el simposi “The Grimm Brothers Today Kinder- und Hausmärchen and Its Legacy 200 Years After” (Grimm in Lisbon 2012) que comptarà amb la participació de reconeguts especialistes sobre el tema. Els germans Grimm a Creadors sense vacances

Del 17 al 22 de juliol, Fabra i Coats acollirà “Creadors sense vacances. Setmana d’art i creació literària”, un cicle de tallers i conferències organitzat per Tantàgora dedicat a la creació que convida a cinc destacats creadors a dirigir un taller de 30h de durada per a professionals i estudiants. I també a quatre conferenciants de primer ordre a parlar sobre la creativitat.

La conferència inaugural anirà a càrrec de Roser Ros i estarà dedicada a “Oralitat i escriptura. Els germans Grimm i altres captors de l’oralitat”.

Fa 200 anys els germans Grimm veien publicat per primer cop el llibre que els faria més famosos arreu: Kinder- und Hausmärchen (“Contes de la infància i de la llar”); tan extensa va ser la seva difusió que el 1896 es va fer una segona edició del llibre, aquest cop revisada per ells mateixos. En efecte, Jacob i Wilhelm Grimm, que havien trobat aquests relats tot cercant les formes més pures de la parla alemanya, varen topar de cara amb un problema no previst i que també havia afectat i seguiria afectant als homes i dones que havien provat de fer de captors de l’oralitat: quan l’escrit captura l’oral el despulla de la mobilitat de què gaudia quan trescava per la boca i l’orella dels parlants, sense altra preocupació que la de caure en l’oblit caudat, moltes vegades, per l’inexorable canvi de mentalitat i costums de les comunitats.

Però si bé l’escriptura proporciona perdurabilitat, fins a quin punt és un antídot contra la desmemòria? Potser una de les millors qualitats del text escrit és la possibilitat que ens ofereix per fer perdurable l’enorme creativitat que posseïm els humans a l’hora de transfigurar la realitat.

El projecte Grimm dels narradors europeus

El projecte Grimm va néixer en el si de la trobada del FEST (Federation of European Storytelling) 2011 a Toledo, amb la idea de celebrar el bicentenari de la primera publicació dels Contes per la infància i per la llar dels Germans Grimm l’any 1812. Es tracta d’una iniciativa en la que poden participar narradors de tota Europa explicant contes dels germans Grimm amb la finalitat que tothom pugui escoltar-los i visionar-los en moltes versions i en llengües diverses. L’Associació de Narradores i Narradors (ANIN), com a membre del FEST, participa en aquest projecte.

IX Congrés de la Sociedad Goethe en España: call for papers

Del 14 al 16 de novembre de 2012, la Sociedad Goethe en España celebrarà el seu IX congrés commemorant els dos-cents anys de l’aparició del primer volum dels Contes dels germans Grimm.
